Update on Reunion Video & Composite Photo - 8/30/07
To All Jax Class '57 Alumni,
I spoke with Richard Raines this evening and the Reunion Video is in
it's final stages of being complete. For all who have previously ordered
and paid for the video, you should receive it some time at the end of
next week.
Cost for Video: $29.95 S&H 4.00 = $33.95
The video will be shipped from Portland Oregon.
Also, the Class composite picture is complete and ready for mailing.
The Composite Photo is from Bev Cam Designs which are located here in
Fort Lauderdale. Size of photo is 8 x 10 -- $25 (included tax and
shipping) Attachment with picture will list all the names of alumni row
by row. It's a great picture. No guessing. At our post meeting, the
committee checked over.
For those who have not ordered, in advance, please let me know and I
will give you more information.
Don't forget, there are many snapshots taken on Friday and Saturday
evenings on the web site and Bev's web site is

For those who were unable to attend, we know you will enjoy the video as
it was a wonderful Allapattah Family Reunion.
If you have any problems in receiving your order, let me know.

The
Most Fabulous Weekend Patti's first words describing the Class of
1957 50th Reunion, held June 8-10, it was
"the most fabulous weekend!"
Hi All,
Our fabulous 50th weekend has come and gone. Believe me, you missed
seeing and being a part of a
great celebration.
The awesome feeling of being surrounded by all your former fellow
classmates cannot be put into words. The wonderful weather, the hotel
surroundings, being right on the intracostals, watching the cruise ships
sail out from he port and the most gorgeous sunset from atop the Pier
during our Saturday event was spectacular.
The pictures from the reunion, via our photographer, are already on line
for viewing. Please go to www. bevcam-designs.com. Click to event and
you will see Jackson Reunion listed. She has them listed by Friday night
and Saturday night and individual pictures. They are great.! The
individual pictures will make up the composite and your names listed
beneath. See below,
Reunion Pictures, for a special price on the composite
picture.
Raines Video will be contacting, directly, all classmates to offer them
an opportunity to purchase the video made on Friday and Saturday
evenings.
Thanks to everyone who attended. You all made it a special event.
Patti

I thought interesting was
one page dedicated to the Code of Ethics, typed as it appeared in the
book:
"We believe that we, as
Jackson students, have an obligation to our school, to our community,
to ourselves and to our God. Therefore, we will give our service
gladly; we will keep our surroundings in order; we will guard our mind
against unclean or false thinking; we will be gracious in manner; we
will be true to our ideals; we will search diligently for truth; we
will make our school proud of us."
Not sure who composed our
Code of Ethics, but certainly was a good one.
